Events Project Coordinator

Our client is an award-winning technology solutions provider specializing in high profile corporate events ad exhibitions ranging from sports, music and lifestyle.

We are hiring UAE experienced events operations coordinators to join their Dubai operations.

Role Summary

• Collaborate with project managers to coordinate and execute project scope, objectives, and deliverables against timelines.
• Budget management - track resources and expenses and prepare budget vs actual expense reports.
• Coordinate with external vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely delivery of goods and services required for projects.
• Arrange and coordinate gate passes, delivery schedules and crew transportation to and from the warehouse to the venue.
• Logistics planning and execution to ensure that all equipment is delivered smoothly and on time to the venue.
• Coordinate event set-up, breakdown, safe movement of equipment and goods to and from the warehouse.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5 years’ experience in live events and conferences operations include pre and post events and logistics.
• Experience of working in events technology, AV and acoustics sector is an advantage.
• UAE driving license is a strong advantage.

Candidate Profile

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates - must be able to live in Dubai.
• Fluent in English - professional written and verbal communication skills for client and team coordination and reporting.
• Results and action oriented - excellent problem solving, organizational, time management and administration skills with the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Professional work ethic.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree
• PMP certification is a strong advantage.
