Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of event management experience, ideally in a professional services or corporate setting.
- Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues efficiently during live events.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with event management tools, CRM platforms, and digital marketing channels.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work outside standard hours for event execution when required.
Primary Job Purpose:
Al Tamimi & Company is seeking a highly organised and proactive Events Manager (Maternity Cover) to oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-quality events that align with the firm’s strategic objectives. The role will manage internal and external events, ensuring seamless delivery and maximum engagement with clients, stakeholders, and employees.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of corporate events, including client networking events, conferences, seminars, sponsorship activations, and internal firm events.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, AV setup, branding, and speaker coordination.
- Oversee guest lists, invitations, and RSVP management, ensuring high attendance and engagement.
- Develop event briefs, run sheets, and post-event reports.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with internal teams, including Business Development, Marketing, and Practice Groups.
- Maintain relationships with external suppliers, venues, and agencies to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Work closely with partners and senior stakeholders to tailor events that enhance client relationships.
Budgeting & Reporting:
- Manage event budgets, ensuring cost control and calculate return on investment where possible.
- Track and measure event success, providing post-event analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare reports on event performance, attendance, and engagement for senior management.
Marketing & Communications Integration:
- Ensure event promotion aligns with broader marketing campaigns, leveraging social media, email marketing, and digital platforms.
- Oversee branding and collateral production for events, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity.
- Work with the Communications team to develop pre- and post-event content, including event photography, press releases, and client communications.
Education & Certification:
- Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.
