IFZA Dubai is the most dynamic and truly international Free Zone Community in the UAE that optimises the country’s strategic location and world-class infrastructure. IFZA differentiates itself through its multi-national approach, providing personalized business establishment solutions through its network of Professional Partners and Government Authorities.

• Overseeing and strategizing IFZA event activities to align with corporate strategy.

• Managing a calendar of events on a monthly, quarterly, yearly basis

• Developing and monitoring KPIs for the events team.

• Creating and implementing guidelines for event planning structure and best practices.

• Planning events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and

objectives.

• Preparing the annual event budget including a mechanism to measure RO.

• Liaising with venue operators to negotiate costs and approve the event space plan.

• Sourcing and negotiating with vendors and suppliers.

• Handling the contracts between IFZA and the vendors / suppliers.

• Responsible for hiring or sourcing necessary personnel for each event.

• Approving all aspects prior to the event.

• Communicating the event in an appealing way to the target audiences

• Leading promotional activities during the events.

• Prepare risk analysis as part of the event plan, to ensure the highest standards of safety.

• Analysing the event’s success and preparing reports post-event.

• Performing other job-related duties as assigned by Management.

• Develop partnerships and sponsorships with key associations and brands that drive revenue

and participation at IFZA events.


Requirements• Full English proficiency is required

• Additional spoken languages are a plus

• Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g., MS Office

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

• Strong project management and risk assessment skills

• Ability to work with tight deadlines

• Proven managerial and leadership skills

• Previous experience working in diverse organizations

• Demonstrable knowledge of target markets and competitors

• Tertiary education in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or other relevant subjects OR

equivalent industry experience

• Proven work experience as an Events Manager or similar in the UAE
