Event Technical Rider Coordinator

We are looking for Event Technical Coordinator who is responsible for overseeing the setup, operation, and breakdown of sound, lighting, and video equipment as per the specifications outlined in technical riders. This role ensures that all technical aspects of events run smoothly, meet the required standards, and exceed client expectations.

Experience:

 - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Dubai event production, audio-visual setup, or a related field.

 - Proven experience in setting up and operating sound, lighting, and video equipment Adams.

Technical Rider Management:

 - Review and interpret technical riders to determine equipment needs and setup requirements.

 - Communicate with artists, performers, and event organizers to clarify and confirm technical specifications.

Equipment Setup and Operation:

 - Set up and configure sound systems, lighting equipment, video projectors, and other technical equipment.

 - Conduct sound checks and lighting tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meeting performance standards.

 - Operate technical equipment during events, including mixing consoles, lighting control panels, and video playback devices.

Coordination and Communication:

 - Work closely with the production team, stagehands, and other technical staff to coordinate setup and breakdown activities.

 - Provide clear instructions and guidance to technical crew members to ensure efficient and accurate setups.

 - Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the event process.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

 - Identify and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently to minimize disruptions during events.

 - Perform regular maintenance and inspections of technical equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.

 - Maintain an inventory of technical equipment and report any deficiencies or damage to the Production Manager.

Compliance and Safety:

 - Ensure all technical setups comply with safety regulations and venue policies.

 - Implement safety protocols and procedures to protect equipment and personnel.

Documentation and Reporting:

 - Maintain detailed records of technical setups, equipment configurations, and event outcomes.

 - Provide post-event reports highlighting any technical challenges encountered and recommendations for improvements.

Skills:

 - Strong technical knowledge of sound, lighting, and video equipment.

 - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

 - Ability to read and interpret technical riders and equipment schematics.

 - Strong organizational and time management skills.

 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

 - Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

 - Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods.

 - Comfortable working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor venues.

Additional Requirements:

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Ability to travel to different event locations as needed.
