European Experienced Farm Logistics Expert

Apt Resources is seeking a European Experienced Farm Logistics Expert to join our client's agricultural operations in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing logistics strategies within the farm supply chain, ensuring efficient movement and storage of agricultural products. You will play a key role in coordinating the transportation of goods, managing inventory, and implementing best practices to enhance the overall efficiency of logistics operations.

• • Coordinate the import of plants and materials from various countries, ensuring adherence to UAE regulations and international trade agreements.
  • Responsible for managing and facilitating the import of plants from various countries into the UAE, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to optimize the import process.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance and compliance, including phytosanitary certificates and import permits.
  • Stay informed about local and international regulations on plant imports/exports, including any legislative changes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and establish procedures to mitigate compliance risks.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new sources for plant imports and export opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions and produce regular reports for management.
  • Ensure all records comply with regulatory standards.
