Environmental Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Environment Manager to join our team and oversee the environmental aspects of the company portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are aligned with the relevant environmental regulations and guidelines, client environmental policies and procedures, as well as minimizing the impact of the project on the environment. The role requires responsibility for environmental planning, assessment, and compliance, along with identifying and establishing environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams, as well as liaising with consultants and contractors to implement environmental strategies and programmes, and monitoring progress to ensure targets are met.

Our Strategic Advisory team is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our KSA-based team. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in environmental consulting, particularly on large-scale international projects, ideally in KSA, UAE, and the wider Middle East region.
The role requires expertise in coordinating and delivering Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies, contributing environmental insights to master planning, and preparing and implementing construction-related environmental management plans, including site monitoring and auditing.
Responsibilities:
Identify environmental planning philosophies and requirements at design stage.
Identify environmental assessment requirements relevant to projects, and ensure engagement of appropriate reputable environmental consultants for the works.
Ensure compliance to client policies and guidelines and Authority permit conditions.
Ensure that all project personnel are aware of and adhere to environmental policies and procedures.
Assist in the development of biodiversity conservation plans and habitat restoration strategies to enhance ecological connectivity, protect sensitive habitats, and promote species diversity within development areas.
Help in creating a sustainability culture within the company departments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an environment related field, such as Environmental Science, Biology, Geology etc.
10-12 years of experience, with a minimum 3 years in a senior environmental management role.
Pre-construction environmental design and planning experience.
Broad knowledge base across all environmental disciplines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a ‘big picture’ understanding.
Desirable:
Specialist in an environmental discipline (Air Quality, Noise, Hydrogeology, etc.)
Proficient in using GIS software, including ArcMap, QGIS, or other related tools.
Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi & UAE environmental regulations and guidelines
Experience in the context of Real Estate Development.
