What you will do


  • Directly supervise staff in carrying out work schedules as well as spot checking to verify quality and employee performance.


  • Ensure timely and accurate sub meter, chemical treatment and engine room logs.


  • Ensure that all meter readings on heat, light and power are taken on a daily basis and reviewed for consumption.


  • Assist in compiling a monthly consumption report on heat, light and power to include electricity, gas, steam and water.


  • Set-up fire life safety system, valve locations and other emergency procedures that involves the department.


  • Manage the Engineering Department of the Hotel's operation.


  • Ensure effective communication and good relations between the maintenance department and other departments.


What you bring


  • Previous 5 years’ experience within 5* luxury resort/hotel in a similar role.


  • Thorough knowledge of all jobs in the Engineering area.


  • Qualification in Technical Engineering.


  • Health, safety and compliance knowledge.


  • Problem solving and technical expertise.
