Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our dynamic team at a group of leading clinics in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have relevant certification and experience in providing emergency medical care, be physically capable of patient handling, and thrive in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care and assistance to patients in pre-hospital and clinical settings.
  
• Administer basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) in emergency situations.
  
• Safely transport patients using proper lifting techniques (up to 50kgs).
  
• Work closely with medical staff to assess and treat patients, ensuring appropriate triage and intervention.
  
• Maintain accurate medical records and document all care provided.
  
• Operate and maintain medical equipment and ensure readiness for emergencies.
  
• Follow safety protocols, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
  
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse, multicultural team.
  

Qualifications:

• Diploma in EMT/EMS (2 years) or Diploma in EMS with minimum 540 hours of clinical experience.
  
• Alternatively, B.Sc. in Nursing with 2 years of ER & Ambulance experience in home country.
  
• Valid AHA BLS, ACLS, and PHTLS certifications.
  
• Prometric exam clearance as an EMT in the UAE.
  
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50kgs to assist with patient transportation.
  
• Physically fit with a decent BMI to manage the demands of the role.
