Create and manage detailed BIM models for ELV systems using tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.
Develop accurate 3D models for ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and data networking systems.
Ensure all ELV models comply with relevant design standards and project specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and structural engineers) to resolve design conflicts and ensure integration with other systems.
Perform clash detection using tools like Navisworks and resolve identified issues within the ELV systems.
Participate in design coordination meetings to ensure the smooth integration of ELV systems into the overall project design.
Produce detailed shop drawings, schematics, and layouts for ELV systems based on BIM models.
Update As-Built models as required and maintain accurate documentation for ELV systems.
Ensure compliance with local and international standards, such as DEWA, ADDC, SEC, and other relevant authorities in the GCC.
Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all ELV BIM deliverables.
Key Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ELV Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in ELV BIM modeling, preferably within the UAE or other GCC countries.
Experience with design consulting firms in the Middle East is highly preferred.
Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and Navisworks.
Strong understanding of ELV system design principles and regulations.
Knowledge of local authority regulations and standards in the GCC region.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
