Job Summary Our client, a construction company based in Dubai, is looking for 40 electricians to join their operations immediately.
Job Summary:
Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems related to outdoor lighting, irrigation controls, water features, and other landscaping electrical components.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation of Electrical Systems:
o Install outdoor lighting systems, including decorative, functional, and security lighting for landscaping projects. o Set up and connect electrical systems for irrigation controllers, pumps, and water features.
2. Maintenance and Repair:
o Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. o Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults or damaged components promptly.
3. Wiring and Cabling:
o Lay underground cables and ensure proper insulation and protection. o Connect and secure wiring to power supplies, lighting fixtures, and control panels.
4. Compliance and Safety:
o Adhere to safety protocols and electrical codes to minimize risks. o Ensure all installations and repairs comply with company standards and local regulations.
5. Technical Support:
o Provide technical input for the selection of electrical equipment and materials. o Assist in designing electrical layouts to suit landscaping project requirements.
6. Documentation:
o Maintain records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. o Prepare reports on system performance and issues encountered.
7. Collaboration:
o Work closely with landscapers, project managers, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution. o Provide guidance to team members on electrical safety and best practices.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in landscaping or outdoor projects. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control panels. • Familiarity with outdoor electrical equipment, including lighting, pumps, and irrigation controllers. • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Physical fitness to work in outdoor environments and handle manual tasks.
Preferred Ǫualifications:
• Certification or diploma in electrical work. • Experience with low-voltage and energy-efficient systems for outdoor applications. • Knowledge of underground cabling and waterproof electrical systems.
