Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
• Maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of supply and control circuits on a wide variety of plant and equipment, including, but not limited to, cranes, winches, pumps, compressors, motors, switchgear, machine tools, domestic electric and AC,DC systems.
• Installation of electrical plant and equipment including building services.
• Mount electrical Control Panels, component and light fittings.
• Electrical cable termination and glanding.
• Megger Test and troubleshooting of electrical circuits.
• Ensure materials / tools are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages immediately upon notice.
• Attend training for activity required by the department.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
Experience / Qualification & Skills:
Knowledge in various types of electrical components. High school, Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Shipyard training.
