Job Description
Understanding of electrical plant items operation and controls and associated systems such as power transformers, reactors, STATCOM, AIS/GIS switchgear, HVDC and HVAC interconnectors, HV Protection & Control. Managing larger multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex projects and programs Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion Proactively managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations Responsible for preparation of project management plans, programs, budgets and other key project deliverables Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc. Managing project timelines, risks and reporting Managing internal project administration including invoicing, variations, subconsultant management and contract risk
Qualifications
A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or Architecture
Experience in infrastructure, or power and energy sectors 6-15 years project management experience delivering highly complex and technical projects Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment. Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regarded Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team. Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients
