About the job ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and execute the testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring they meet project specifications and performance criteria.
Develop detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in collaboration with project teams.
Conduct functional and performance tests on electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
Identify and troubleshoot issues during the commissioning process, ensuring timely resolution and system optimization.
Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and handover of electrical systems.
Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports, documenting test results, system performance, and any corrective actions taken.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the commissioning activities.
Participate in project meetings, providing updates on commissioning progress and any challenges encountered.
Provide training and handover documentation to operations and maintenance personnel.
Support the project close-out process, ensuring all commissioning documentation is complete and accurate.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Testing and Commissioning Electrical Engineer, preferably in the construction or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing procedures, and commissioning standards.
Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic tools for electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and coordination abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
