Design & Planning:
Develop and design electrical systems for high-rise buildings, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and fire alarm systems.
Collaborate with other engineers (mechanical, plumbing, and structural) to integrate electrical systems effectively into the overall building design.
Ensure electrical designs comply with local codes, regulations, and energy-efficiency standards.
Create and review electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications for the project.
Project Management:
Oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring that installations follow the approved designs, budgets, and timelines.
Coordinate and manage contractors, sub-contractors, and on-site teams to ensure work is completed to the required quality standards.
Review submittal, shop drawings, and material specifications to ensure compliance with the design and project requirements.
Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve electrical issues during construction.
System Integration & Testing:
Ensure proper integration of electrical systems with other MEP systems (mechanical and plumbing).
Conduct electrical system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to verify performance and reliability.
Work with the team to address any issues during commissioning and ensure all systems are operational before handover.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Implement quality control procedures to monitor the installation of electrical systems and identify any potential risks or issues.
