Develop electrical equipment, systems specifications, protocols, and other design deliverables that support facility expansions, renovations, new equipment, and remediation projects to meet safety and efficiency requirements for our patients and professionals.
1.Develop design documentation, including engineering calculations and drawings.
2.Supply feasibility studies, concept development, safety/risk analysis, equipment/utilities capacity analysis, design, and sizing in preparing technical proposals and electrical reports.
3.Provide troubleshooting support for equipment and systems, providing corrective actions.
4.Conduct reviews of engineering options and technical evaluations to validate the nature of new products and design solutions.
5.Address and resolve design and manufacturing challenges, ensuring optimal performance and functionality of electrical equipment and systems.
6.Select appropriate materials and manufacturing techniques to achieve design goals while maintaining cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
7.Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions.
8.Implement and oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards in both design and manufacturing.
9.Supervise the development of computer-aided design (CAD) project drawings from junior team members.
10.Identify and ensure that the required spare parts details of all equipment/services under the unit are available and have been made stock items as required.
11.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and designers, to ensure seamless electrical equipment and systems integration.
12.Obtain project-related approvals, non-objection certificates, and necessary permits from the relevant local authorities at the design and construction stages.
13.Perform other applicable tasks and duties.
Bachelor Degree Electrical Engineering
3-5 YearsRelevant experience, preferably within healthcare or hospitality.
