Job summary
MISSION:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draughtsman with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically with LNG projects and an EPC background. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Qatargas standards and will be proficient in using drawing tools such as AutoCAD. This role requires detailed technical drafting skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams.
TASKS:
Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematics, MTOs, electrical layouts, installation details, panel schedules, and interconnection drawings. Prepare weight control reports for electrical parts, including bulk materials. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all electrical drawings and revisions. Ensure all drawings and documents meet Qatargas standards and project specifications. Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and Bill of Materials (BOMs) based on project requirements. Conduct quality checks on all electrical drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of experience as an Electrical Draughtsman in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically with LNG projects and an EPC background. Proven experience with Qatargas standards. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
