Prepares and provides EEG clinic preparation for early morning. Ensure consent is taken prior to any procedure. Explain procedures to patient with support of his/her language with PRO department staff (if needed). To check about any contraindication to the procedure & inform the Doctor if any. Conducts EEG recordings, nerve conduction studies, Assist Neurologist in EMG examination evoked response testing, polysomnographic recording, and monitoring of responses during patient testing. Participates in any QI activities and attend continuing education activity relevant to area of mandatory requirements. Maintains current knowledge of procedures and maintenance of new equipment and that all equipments are properly maintained. Maintain the stock of disposables which is needed in the department. Maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures of NMCSH – Dubai. Performs other miscellaneous related duties as requested by the Head of the Department. To follow appropriate international guidelines, DHA regulations & Joint Commission International norms while treating or managing patients as well as while discharging their professional duties.
