Duct Fabricator

• Fabricate and assemble ductwork systems, including ducts, fittings, and related components according to project specifications and blueprints.
• Inspect and test fabricated ducts and systems to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from defects.
• Select and handle appropriate materials and tools for duct fabrication, including cutting, bending, and welding.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the dimensions and configuration of duct systems.
• Assemble and install ductwork systems, including connecting ducts to other components and ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
• Ensure that all fabricated and installed ductwork adheres to project specifications and industry standards.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
• Work with other trades and engineers to integrate ductwork systems into larger projects and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication and installation.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or diploma in duct fabrication or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a duct fabricator in the oil and gas industry. Experience with large-scale projects is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of duct fabrication techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools for duct fabrication.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Relevant certifications in duct fabrication, welding, or related trades are preferred.
