About the Job:


An opportunity has arisen for a Director – Talent Acquisition at Dubai Holding Entertainment. We are looking for a visionary and strategic leader to join us. In this role, you will design and drive a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract and retain exceptional talent, ensuring we continue to deliver world-class entertainment experiences. Reporting to the CHRO, you will lead the talent acquisition team, enhance our Employer Value Proposition, and manage all aspects of recruitment operations with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and financial accountability. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of talent acquisition at one of the region’s most dynamic entertainment companies.


Lead the development of entertainment and event strategy, formulating budgets and adhering to them.


Strategic Leadership


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and workforce plans.
  • Partner with the CHRO and leadership team to forecast talent needs and design workforce planning initiatives.
  • Drive innovation in recruitment processes, tools, and practices to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Financial Accountability


  • Develop, manage, and monitor the talent acquisition budget, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining the quality of recruitment processes and outcomes.
  • Track and report on recruitment spending, including vendor contracts, advertising expenses, and technology investments.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to forecast and manage resource allocation for short-term and long-term hiring needs.

Team Management


  • Lead, mentor, and develop the talent acquisition team to deliver high-quality results across all hiring initiatives.
  • Establish clear KPIs for the talent acquisition team and monitor performance regularly.
  • Employer Branding
  • Strengthen Dubai Holding Entertainment’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) in collaboration with marketing and HR teams.
  • Implement employer branding campaigns to position the company as an employer of choice within the entertainment and hospitality sectors.

Recruitment Excellence


  • Build and manage relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, job boards, and universities.
  • Oversee the recruitment of senior-level and niche roles, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Ensure diversity and inclusion principles are embedded in all hiring practices.

Data and Reporting


  • Implement and manage recruitment analytics to measure success, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the CHRO and executive leadership on recruitment metrics, challenges, and achievements.

Compliance and Policy


  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations in all recruitment activities.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures that align with industry best practices. 
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and discuss strategies for attracting top talent.

About you: 


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale recruitment projects with a focus on cost-efficiency and financial accountability.
  • Expertise in using ATS platforms, recruitment tools, and social media for talent sourcing.
  • Strong understanding of labor law and recruitment practices in the UAE.
  • Experience in the entertainment, hospitality, or retail industry is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into talent and financial strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly related to financial metrics and cost control.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing employer branding initiatives.
