Director Sales - Strategic Accounts - Oil & Gas, Energy (Emiratization Initiative) 
Our client, a Global MNC in Engineering & Automation industry is hiring a Director Sales – managing Strategic Accounts in the Oil & Gas, Energy Industry. (Emiratization Initiative - seeking Emirati Talent) - Abu Dhabi - UAE. 
Role:
Responsible for developing and implementing account plans and statements of Work (SoW) growth actions.
Design and execute strategic business plans that drive profitable growth and meet both short-term and long-term HUB growth and organizational development targets.
Responsibilities:
•Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and SoW growth actions.
•Designing and implementing a strategic business plan expanding the partnership.
•Understanding key business drivers, including emerging risks (e.g., sustainability, digital, cybersecurity), and interpreting impacts and opportunities.
•Participating in developing sales strategies by providing insights into the customer’s current and long-term plans.
•Defining and proposing sales targets for the account, ensuring their achievement through structured follow-up across divisions and countries.
•Selling products, solutions, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets.
•Ensuring a coordinated sales approach adding value for both the customer and Company.
•Monitoring competitors’ activities and formulating appropriate response strategies.
•Providing input on market price developments.
•Driving the application of standardized marketing and sales processes and tools (e.g., Salesforce, account plans).
Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 10 Years of experience in Account Management within Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities industry
  • Experience in portfolio management, business strategy, and market intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies and customer experience success.
  • Knowledge of regulation and legal compliance, pricing excellence, and budget and performance targets.
  • Expertise in account management, business development, and sales enablement.
  • Familiarity with general sales practices, solution/application sales engineering, and channel sales.
  • Proficiency in contract and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
