Role       : Director – Real Estate Investments
Location: Dubai
Role Purpose:

Lead the investment strategy and execution for the firm’s Real Estate investment strategy, including real-estate funds and single asset real-estate opportunities. The executive is expected to lead the development of the real-estate strategy, risk appetite, and product pipeline. The executive is expected to originate real-estate investment opportunities globally and develop relationships with partners in various global jurisdictions, including the GCC, US and Europe. The executive will also have primary responsibilities (alongside the Investment Committee) in relation to managing real-estate investments.

Key Accountabilities of the role      

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall real estate investment strategy in alignment with the firm’s objectives.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of the real estate investment portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and risk management.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and trends.
• Deal Sourcing: Source, evaluate, and execute real estate investment opportunities, including acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures.
• Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis and modelling to support investment decisions.
• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, assessing their financial viability, risks, and alignment with the investment criteria.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and investors on portfolio performance and market conditions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Compliance: Ensure all investments comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the investment team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

• 12-15 years of experience in real estate investment, with a strong track record of successful transactions and portfolio management.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of real estate markets and investment strategies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong relationship network to source real-estate investment opportunities and partnerships, with a particular focus on the US / Europe
