Director of Cloud Solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Lead cloud architecture design and implementation across AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Oversee cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks to meet industry standards.
• Manage cloud cost optimization, scalability, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and software development teams to deploy cloud-native applications.
• Implement automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps best practices.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and innovations to drive digital transformation.
• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and architects.
• Establish disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure.
• Build strong relationships with cloud vendors and service providers.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in cloud architecture, solutions, or engineering.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and risk management.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, serverless computing, and API management.
• Proven leadership experience in managing cloud engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
