About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Director - Food and Beverage in Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Oversee organizational and administrative functions in the Food & Beverage Department to ensure alignment with strategy and Jumeirah standards.
• Participate in preparing the Annual Business Plan to adequately represent Food & Beverage operations.
• Lead the development of flexible strategies to attract new and potential customers and improve business levels.
• Attend department briefings and monthly meetings to review events and communicate updates to colleagues.
• Delegate accountability and decision-making authority to outlet managers for their operations to benefit the outlets.
• Build solid working relationships with management across departments to support operational goals.
• Support the training and development of outlet managers to operate independently as profit centres.
• Utilize appraisals and performance management tools to provide efficient and effective leadership.
• Contribute to developing ideas and sales strategies to enhance Food & Beverage productivity and revenue.
• Ensure adherence to company and hotel policies, procedures, and minimum standards at all times.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years senior management experience in a large Food & Beverage operation within a luxury property, including fine dining & gastronomic restaurants.
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management. 
• Experience in the Middle East is desirable. 
• Strong leadership skills.
• Culinary background/knowledge.
