Job Summary
Atlantis Dubai is one of the regional leaders in Marketing, underpinned by its commitment to digital transformation, innovation, and the adoption of world-leading enterprise technology solutions. These include Salesforce Marketing, Tealium CDP, Content Square, ContentStack and Litmus.  As a Digital Marketing Director you will be leading a high performing team of 10 specialists who work across the entire digital eco-system including: Digital Channels, Guest Facing Hotel Technology, Data Analytics and CRM. This role is a unique blend of technology enablement and digital performance. Would suit a hands-on strategic digital director and offers a great opportunity for the right candidate to further grow and develop their skills in a world-class hospitality organization with unrivalled opportunity to take ownership and drive results.  Familiarity and exposure to the key four work streams is crucial for this role. We are looking for an Atlantean with a positive attitude, motivated and willing to jump in to make the most of this opportunity.  

 


Key Duties and Responsibilities 


Digital Channel Management


  • Daily content management across Atantis.com, Aquaventureworld.com and branded F&B websites, Atlantis Apps,  resort wide digital signage and in room TV system
  • Responsibility for the total search landscape; SEO, Paid Search, Metasearch, Google Things To Do and Google Business Profile
  • Management of the global rooms affiliate marketing program
  • Ownership of our Rooms, Waterpark, F&B and Spa booking engines and customer booking journeys
  • Implementation of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) program through content personalisation and A/B testing
  • Utilisation of digital asset management (DAM) tool to feed all key channels
  • Management of WeChat, Fliggy and Yandex platforms 
  • Technology stack roadmap ownership and Atlantis representative on the Kerzner IT steering committee 
  • Implementation of new website features and functionalities delivered in sprint cycles   
  • Oversee UAT testing, staging and production go live for all new developments 
  • Scoping and roll-out of innovative global payment methods   

Guest Facing Hotel Technology


  • Project management and product ownership of the resort’s four apps (Atlantis Dubai, Atlantis Circle, Aquaband +, Atlantis Living) and In Room TV Solution
  • Responsibility for the Apps roadmap & development of new features, enhancements and day to day tech support    
  • Technology leader for the Atlantis Circle dining rewards program to support acquisition, retention and tier migration 
  • Atlantis Dubai Resort App system integrations including Opera, Assa Abloy, SFMC, Sevenrooms, Pressreader and Live Chat
  • Marketing representative for the Aquaband + app
  • Revenue generation strategies though App and TV Solutions
  • Management of app-based pre-check-in and check-out solution  
  • Business support for QR code requirements and guest surveys

Data Analytics


  • Collecting data from various sources such as databases, external sources such as S3 bucket, snowflake etc.
  • Ensuring data quality by cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for analysis. This includes handling missing values, correcting inaccuracies, and removing duplicates
  • Development and maintenance of data infrastructure, data pipeline and reporting tools
  • Analysing data using statistical and visualisation techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships.
  • Creation and maintenance of self-service business dashboards
  • Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize the customer experience, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes
  • Applying appropriate machine learning algorithms and techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning
  • Adherence to the highest standards of data protection and security
  • Continuous management & optimisation of Customer Data Platform (CDP) integrations
  • Deriving advanced insight from website journeys using GA 360, Content Square and internal website reporting tools
  • Channel and Campaign attribution reporting to understand ROAS, media optimisation opportunities and ideal channel budget splits
  • In-dept platform specific reporting including Search, Social and Display channels 
  • Management of Google Tag Manager & UTM naming convention consistency

CRM


  • Owner of the Atlantis Dubai CRM infrastructure & system integrations
  • Atlantis representative on the Kerzner CRM working group
  • Management of key CRM performance channels – email, SMS, push and WhatsApp
  • Atlantis Dubai customer data program lead   
  • Creation and execution of data strategies utilising key customer touch points, CRM channels & Tealium CDP 
  • Ensure that brand standards are met through consistency in EDMs, including, guest confirmation letters, Wi-Fi sign up, pre-arrival emails, in-resort communications, and The Atlantis Circle dining rewards program 
  • CRM reporting and gleaning insight from an email engagement and database perspective 
  • Customer lifecycle management through application of database segmentation techniques to manage and engage new, active, and dormant profiles
  • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive single view of our customers 
  • Adhering to all relevant data protection legislation

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements


  • 10 + years’ experience in a similar Digital leadership role
  • Experience in an enterprise level CMS and CRM solution are essential
  • Deep knowledge of performance marketing is required for this role
  • Experience in a CDP, DAM, enterprise loyalty solution or GA360 are advantageous
  • Knowledge of mobile application development and complex system integrations is a nice to have
  • Understanding and application of data analytical methods to measure marketing & business performance   
  • High comfort level in a role that straddles marketing, IT, commercial and operational teams 
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Fluency in English along with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences across the business
  • Strong presentation skills to educate internal audiences with Digital, CRM & Data related matters  
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
