The Digital Product Owner will develop, manage and implement digital capabilities that are based on and support the key strategic drivers for the businesses in the assigned product portfolio. Putting the customer first and using qualitative and quantitative data to clearly understand expectations, behaviour and trends ensure the delivery of best in class digital experiences for our customers. Collaborate with other teams in the department and business stakeholders to understand, evolve and incorporate our first party data models and offer catalogues to create a fully omni channel and personalised experience which supports each brand and maximises revenue, whilst minimising costs. In collaboration with the Digtal Portfolio Owner maintain a roadmap to deliver capabilities that can be utilised by all lines of business across web, mobile and app properties. Manage the backlog of features to support and deliver against this roadmap including the prioritisation and delivery of work across internal and external development teams. 


In this role you will:


  • In partnership with the relevant MMC/MCM and Digital Portfolio Owners work closely with stakeholders from across the Emirates Group to develop a digital portfolio strategy for each capability within the assigned portfolio. Ensure that the business strategies are supported through the brands digital capabilities delivering an exceptional customer centric experience.
  • Take full responsibility for the portfolio's Digital Product Strategy, aligning with all marketing teams to ensure digital capabilities support marketing campaigns and deliver upon our personalisation and optimisation objectives.
  • Cascade the agreed strategy into a deliverable roadmap that incorporates new business capabilities and innovative new concepts through the synthesis of data insights, user research, customer feedback, and competitive dynamics to ensure maximum return on investment.
  • Work collaboratively with the relevant MMC/MCM and the Data Analytics teams to agree success measures for each portfolios digital product and ensure that all deliveries include the required capability to create the required management reporting against these measures.
  • Working collaboratively with the data analytics, customer strategy and customer insights team develop and evolve first party data models that will support personalisation and intelligent offer placement within the digital experience for each line of business within the portfolio.
  • Manage the overall digital capability backlog.
  • Develop the quarterly delivery plans (in collaboration with the Digital Product Managers, Digital Experience and Marketing Technology and the Digital Design teams) that reflect overall priorities within the Emirates group as well as the individual brands.
  • Work with both internal and external IT teams to ensure that delivery plans are based on both business priorities and the most effective use IT resources.
  • Work with the TPO assigned to the platform to ensure that the business requirements are accurately translated into development stories, and test criteria that will deliver the optimal business outcomes.
  • In partnership with the Digital Design team champion the broader Digital strategy and ensure all assets adhere to Emirates Brand guidelines.
  • Lead Digital Portfolio Specialists assigned to the portfolio through collaboration, delegation and empowerment to ensure effective delivery of our technology solutions and that there is a suitable succession plan for each portfolio.
