About the job:
The role holder is responsible for managing, developing, and delivering the marketing requirements in the areas of branding, design, creative thinking for commercial business units and internal DHAM departments in order to achieve business goals and provide an integrated solution in creating value in both the short and long term. The role holder is also responsible for working closely with a predefined number of brands to help manage the briefs, timelines, marketing activities, and creative execution/delivery.
Job responsibilities:
Marketing Activities and Supplier Management
- Provide support to the Head of Marketing Branding & Services in executing all marketing activities and initiatives and ensure timely execution
- Deliver first class marketing activity with a range of suppliers including our in-house design team or external creative suppliers. In doing so, ensure that creative ideation and content generation is on brand, fresh and innovative
- Manage all marketing requests from different marketing managers and relevant internal departments in line with company guidelines to ensure that all collaterals meet corporate standards and the creative calibre required
- Manage all logistics and creative for corporate events and ensure successful implementation
Budgeting & Reporting
- Ensure that all marketing projects commence with a robust written brief and approved budget and that all stakeholders are clear on the project deliverables and resources required to complete the project this includes managing stakeholder expectations on the time and budget required to undertake a project
- Support in the preparation of reports and presentations on marketing initiatives to provide management with reliable information for review and decision making
Relationship Management and Continuous Improvement
- Support shared services (i.e. Procurement, legal, IT, finance, HR…etc.) with their marketing requests and maintain a cordial and good working relationship with them
- Work closely with the different departments which are essential for the success of any all-marketing activities such as Comms & Digital and the Marketing & Events teams to ensure day to day processes are met and deliverables are timely as per briefs
- Ensure the brands are supported with all needs related to marketing including but not limited to design, content, production
- Provide timely and quick responses when feasible to the internal departments such as Shared Services, Business Units, HC etc.
- Support new corporate launches / projects / products (i.e. website development), new DHAM products, etc.
- Support in developing all brand content and support events / marketing team when needed
- Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Meet with them frequently as a means to increase knowledge of the business and to enhance the branding strategy and plans
- Understand and adopt international best practices to develop branding, creatives, advertising policies, systems, processes and procedures, and budgets to ensure the consistent application and ease of operation and to translate the strategy into operational action plans/ projects and achieve or exceed the business objectives
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Advertising / Medi
- 3-5 years’ work experience in the field of marketing, advertising, events, product marketing or brand management Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Arabic preferred but not compulsory)
- High level of computer literacy
- Strong Attention to detail
- Multitasking
- Highly organized and able to deliver projects to deadline
- Ability to manage multiple projects and multi stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
