DEWA UNDERGROUND WATERSUPPLY PIPELINE RECTIFICATION WORKS Soil excavation and Rectification of 2” DEWA water supply pipeline towards building side with all necessary PPE and safety arrangements in Mazaya Business Avenue AA1, JLT. · Removal of pebbles/stones/asphalt near DEWA manhole area. · Excavation of soil 3x5mtr area and approximate 3.5 meter depth until the damaged pipeline. · Step excavation method to be included according to the safety requirements with proper barricades. · Cut and remove the damaged 2” existing pipeline and fittings. · Supply and rectification of 2” HPVC pipeline and fittings in the required area. · Backfilling of sand in the excavated area. · Manual compacting the area and laying the removed pebbles/stone/interlocks and handover the site. Note: · Need to apply work permit to Concordia DMCC with Scope of work, Method of statement, Risk Assessment and other supporting documents for necessary approval. · All work must be completed in comply with site requirements and certified PPE’s and safety aspects to be followed strictly.
No Subcontracting: In accordance to Jointly Owned Property Law No.6,2019, Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement, the vendor/contractor may not use any subcontractor to perform any of his obligations under this work order. Unless:
(a) Vendor has obtained the prior written consent of SAGA to the use of the subcontractor, and
(b) Vendor has entered into a separate written agreement with the subcontractor which requires the subcontractor to agree to and abide by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
The Community shall be deemed to be a third-party beneficiary of any such agreement between the vendor and a permitted subcontractor.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the vendor shall not be relieved of any of its duties or obligations under this Agreement as a result of entering into a written agreement with a permitted subcontractor.
