We are active in the rural deliveries, survey, surveillance and maritime verticals.We are positioned in a new industry where it has never been a more exciting time to be at the forefront of a modern, high-growth organisation.Role overviewWe have an exciting new opportunity for a Development Manager to join our expanding infrastructure division in Dubai with a focus on Middle East projects.The role is extremely varied; from assembling design teams, managing design development, overseeing contractor procurement and appointment, value engineering, managing the design and construction team throughout developments and bringing developments into operational readiness. Skyports is going to develop and deploy a number of vertiports in Dubai as part of its high-profile project with the RTA. This will be the first project in the world with permanent vertiport infrastructure for commercial operations of air taxi services. The infrastructure DM will be critical to ensuring the delivery and success of this roll out. Based in Dubai, the role may involve domestic and international travel, especially within the GCC region but also internationally.You will: Be responsible for development projects from inception to completion Undertake site feasibility assessments and identify surveys that need to be completed Prepare and manage business plans and budgets Select, appoint and manage professional teams Procurement and management of the contractor Manage planning applications and procurement of required consents Manage design processes ensuring value maximization, budget and programme control Manage developments ensuring value maximization, budget and programme control Ensure compliance with all health and safety and environmental regulations Monitor and report on all financial aspects of projects Manage projects through to completion and operational readiness
