STUDIO MORCOS is a design studio specializing in creative consultancy, working at the intersection of design, art,
culture, hospitality, and fashion. Based in Dubai, we specialise in delivering the unexpected and transformative
architectural concepts. We work with some of the most exciting developers, hospitality groups as well as private
clients, transforming spaces into captivating experiences.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an architect with a strong sense of design, attention to detail, and the ability to see solutions in
every challenge. This role requires expertise in rendering, interior solutions, and property restructuring to maximise
aesthetic and functional value. Whether it’s refining a facade’s visual impact or rethinking a space for optimal use.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our design team to conceptualise, develop, and execute architectural
solutions that align with our interior design vision. This role requires a strong understanding of space planning,
materials, and technical detailing, as well as a passion for creating aesthetic, functional interiors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create high-quality architectural renderings and design solutions for residential, commercial or hospitality projects
• Develop innovative interior and exterior concepts aligned with our design philosophy.
• Conduct site visits and assist with project coordination during construction phases
• Produce precise drawings and detailed technical plans.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and studio standards
• Support the selection and specification of materials, finishes, and fixtures as well as updating yourself on global and
regional material trends, understanding and sourcing
• Engage with clients and suppliers, ensuring on point communication and execution of projects.
REQUIREMENTS
• Meeting Hours: In-person meetings from 10 AM - 7 PM at our studio in Al Quoz, Dubai, near Alserkal Avenue.
• Education: Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Software Proficiency: fluid skills in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Design Sensibility: A keen eye for aesthetics and detail, with a modern and forward-thinking approach to design.
• Material Knowledge: Understanding of available materials in Dubai and global design trends.
• Location: Must be based in Dubai
• Work Ethic: Ability to work independently within a structured environment, taking responsibility while maintaining
creative freedom.
• Preferable Experience in FF&E specification and interior detailing is highly desirable
