Demand Planner - Dubai Logistics & Supply Chain
The Demand Planner is responsible for planning the demand and supply for a / multiple product category within business units. Ensuring that the business plans for continuous product supply meet the marketplace's requirements for products. Responsible for forecasting volume, revenue, product movement and procuring supply. Must be able to operate with a high degree of urgency and integrity. Must have strong analytics and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) utilization skills to be successful. Principal Responsibility • Demand Management • Analyzes sell - in and sell - out forecasting trends and aligns future demand to meet the trends and current market conditions. • Reviews current inventory levels and adjusts supply plans to align with target levels of safety stock and total inventory plans. • Supply Management • Takes the forecasted volumes and insures purchase order generation occurs to procure products from the associated factories. • Troubleshoots coverage plans and supply disruptions on an on - going basis and re - aligns volume forecasts to match inbound supply plans. • Sales & Operations • Prepares and analyzes the sales and operations for each product group: highlights and presents to the business the status of the business on a weekly basis and monthly basis. • Systems • ERP & Demand Management tools to control and run the business. • OLAP / Analytical tools for operation • KPI management & monitoring. Job Responsibility • Managing forecast for distributors around MEA region based on the sell-out data from the market. • Distributors from UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Yemen, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Pakistan, Afghanistan. • Factories from mainly from Asia, Europe & Middle East • High communication skills required to manage Sales & operation meeting, Customer Meeting, Sales follow-up . • Managing Channel PSI (Sell-in, Sell-through, and inventory) • Planning Long-term(M+5) Sell-in to coordinate with factory for in-time production from factory.
