We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Delivery Operations Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the delivery, offloading, and installation of high-value servers across various locations in the UAE. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple aspects of the delivery process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Site Survey & Coordination:
• Conduct pre-surveys of each delivery site to assess the environment and identify potential challenges.
• Coordinate with site representatives to plan and schedule deliveries efficiently.
• Reporting & Risk Assessment:
• Prepare comprehensive site survey reports detailing the findings and recommendations.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards during the delivery process.
• Delivery Support:
• Assist the delivery team in offloading and securely transporting servers within the facility.
• Ensure that servers are unpacked and positioned correctly according to the client’s requirements.
• Documentation:
• Prepare completion reports and gather client feedback through structured forms.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and coordinate with the delivery team, providing clear instructions and guidance.
• Offer necessary advice and on-the-job training to team members to ensure high standards of performance.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field, preferably with a focus on high-value or sensitive cargo.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in report writing and risk assessment.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in cargo handling.
