Additionally, we manage iconic districts, including Business Bay, Dubai Land Residences, Jaddaf Waterfront, Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, Dubai Studio City, Dubai Harbour, and more.OverviewThe Director-Digital Transformation & IT will be responsible for leading and overseeing the IT department, encompassing key functions such as applications, data management, governance, IT support, and document control. This role will play a critical part in shaping and executing the IT strategy of the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the IT strategy of Dubai Holding Community Management.The  Director-Digital Transformation & IT will manage the IT budget and ensure efficient and effective use of resources. Additionally, the IT Director will develop a robust strategy, including a clear roadmap of deliverables, to future-proof the organization with a strong focus on data strategy, automation, and emerging technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management: Lead and manage the IT department, including applications, data management, governance, IT support, and document control functions. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and other business verticals to understand their needs and provide effective IT solutions. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy in alignment with business goals and the IT strategy of the holding company. Create a robust strategy and clear roadmap of deliverables to ensure the organization is future-proof, with a strong emphasis on data strategy. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI and IoT, to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Ensure the IT strategy supports scalability, efficiency, and security across the organization.Budget Management: Prepare, manage, and monitor the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources. Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimize IT spending without compromising service quality. Report on budget performance and variances to senior management.Applications and Data Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications to meet business needs. Ensure data integrity, security, and availability through robust data management practices. Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures.IT Support and Document Control: Ensure the provision of high-quality IT support services to internal users. Oversee the management and control of documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Implement and maintain effective IT support processes and systems.Governance and Compliance: Ensure IT operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and policies. Develop and enforce IT governance frameworks and practices. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate with other business verticals to ensure IT initiatives align with overall business objectives. Align IT strategy and operations with the IT strategy of the holding company to ensure consistency and synergy. Interface with government authorities such as RERA, RTA, Dubai Municipality, and others to ensure compliance and cooperation.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with various application vendors to ensure service quality and performance. Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure the best terms for the organization.Expertise and Experience: Provide expertise in CAFM systems, CRM, Salesforce, and Strata applications. Ensure these systems are effectively implemented and maintained to support business needs.Automation and Digitization: Lead initiatives for automation and digitization across all touchpoints, including the website, app, and contact center, to create an omni-channel experience. Implement technologies and processes to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience through digital transformation.Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Proactively recommend and lead the adoption of innovative and emerging technologies, such as AI and IoT, to drive business growth and efficiency. Foster a culture of innovation within the IT team and across the organization.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a strong track record of managing diverse IT functions. Extensive experience in strategic planning, budget management, and IT governance. Strong knowledge of data management, software development, and IT support processes. Expertise in CAFM systems, CRM, Salesforce, and Strata applications. Experience in dealing with government authorities such as RERA, RTA, Dubai Municipality, and others. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven experience in leading automation and digitization initiatives to create an omni-channel experience. Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
