Data Entry Officer
Dubai XA UAE Body Shop – Administrative / Permanent - Full Time / On-site The Data Entry Officer is responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining data into computer systems and databases with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This role involves organizing and managing data, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for other team members or departments. The Data Entry Officer may also be tasked with verifying and cross-checking data, compiling reports, and assisting in administrative tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Enter data into computer systems, databases, or spreadsheets with speed and accuracy.
+ Update and maintain existing records, ensuring all information is correct, complete, and current.
+ Review and validate data for errors and inconsistencies, performing necessary corrections as required.
+ Organize and file digital and physical records for easy retrieval and reference.
+ Ensure data integrity by regularly reviewing and updating records.
+ Assist in preparing and organizing data for reports or audits.
+ Scan, digitize, and input information from paper-based documents into digital formats.
+ Process and classify data according to established guidelines or templates.
+ Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports using the collected data.
+ Generate summaries and analytics for internal or external stakeholders as needed.
+ Perform quality checks on the entered data to identify and rectify errors.
+ Ensure consistency and accuracy across various data points and sources.
+ Follow internal procedures for data entry and updates to maintain high standards.
+ Handle sensitive data with confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
+ Ensure compliance with company protocols regarding privacy and security standards.
+ Communicate with other departments or team members to clarify data requirements or resolve discrepancies.
+ Work with supervisors or managers to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
+ Provide general administrative support as required, such as filing, organizing, and scheduling.
+ Assist in maintaining inventory and tracking company supplies if necessary.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or certifications are a plus).
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other data entry software.
+ Fast and accurate typing (40+ WPM).
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Good communication and time management skills.
+ Prior experience in administrative or customer service roles is preferred but not required.
