Scope
Coordination and execution of Project & UAE Overland customer orders in accordance with their requirements and/or procedures(SOP)
Responsibilities
- Handle end to end logistical operations of the client(Sea/Air/Land)
- Address and resolve any concerns related to shipments or delivery timelines.
- Should be well versed in handling import, export and cross trade movements.
- Follow up with Operations team for Customs processing (export/import)
- Documentation/administration/invoicing / filing
- Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI)
- Operational troubleshooting
- Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.
- Act as the point of contact between the company and clients regarding logistics matters.
- Work on budgeting and cost optimization in transportation and logistics operations. Procure and quote as per the client requirement.
- Requires strong organizational and time management skills to handle the day-to-day logistics activities.
Qualifications / Experience
- +3 years of detailed experience of logistics and project forwarding operations/regulations and documentation
- Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and /or other market leading software applications.
- Should hold driving license
