Job Responsibilities
1. Design & Drafting
· Design custom wardrobes based on client needs and space characteristics, providing efficient storage solutions.
· Use AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, and other software to create detailed design plans, including construction drawings, exploded views, and section diagrams.
· Provide high-quality renderings showcasing wardrobe materials, colors, and lighting effects.
2. Client Communication & Proposal Development
· Communicate in-depth with clients to understand their requirements and deliver designs in modern minimalist, Italian luxury, and other styles.
· Prepare and present design proposals using PowerPoint to ensure client understanding and satisfaction.
· Optimize materials and designs according to client budgets while maintaining cost control.
3. Material & Craft Selection
· Familiarity with high-end wardrobe materials such as solid wood, MDF, glass, metal, and stainless steel, ensuring proper combinations.
· Understand wardrobe hardware (hinges, slides, handles, lighting systems) and smart wardrobe solutions.
· Stay updated on international design trends and liaise with suppliers to ensure material quality.
4. Production & Installation Coordination
· Collaborate with factories to provide production-ready designs, minimizing rework.
· Guide the installation team to ensure precise wardrobe installation and resolve on-site issues.
· Participate in project delivery, supervising overall product quality and installation outcomes.
5. Project Management & Team Collaboration
· Manage multiple design projects, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
· Work closely with sales, production, and installation teams to execute designs efficiently.
Salary & Benefits
· Compensation Structure: Base salary + project commission (high earnings potential for outstanding designers).
· Company Support: Work visa, office equipment, design software, and material samples provided.
Technical Skills
· 3+ years of experience in custom wardrobe design, with familiarity with high-end furniture markets (e.g., Poliform, Molteni&C, Rimadesio).
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other design software.
· Strong space planning skills, ensuring efficient storage layout and an optimized wardrobe experience.
· Familiarity with wardrobe hardware (hinges, slides, concealed handles, etc.) and the latest smart storage systems.
· Ability to create construction drawings, exploded views, and section diagrams to ensure production feasibility.
Soft Skills
· Strong aesthetic sense, familiar with modern minimalist and luxury design styles.
· Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide suitable solutions.
· Team-oriented mindset, capable of working closely with sales, production, and installation teams.
· Strong sense of responsibility and ability to independently follow up on projects to ensure high-quality delivery.
Language Requirements
· Fluent in Mandarin and English (capable of effective communication with clients and teams).
· Arabic proficiency is a plus.
