Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: Credit underwriting and exceptions channel
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
People Management Act as a role model and drive adherence to organisational values and ethics by employees of the assigned department to foster a value driven culture within the Group.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Ensure effective implementation of Credit & Collections Personal Banking functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Credit Initiation Management
Processing the credit approval for non-engine related cases. Processing the exceptional approval cases which was raised and approved through the exceptions channel. Support Retention and Collections teams in their proposals. Participating in Enhance the use of technology in the credit initiation management to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Department. Daily sampling credit engine approved cases to ensure approval within the policy and report any decision failure.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline.
Minimum Experience
5 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 3 years in similar positions.
