Job Description

This role will provide assistance to Contracts & Subcontracts Engineer by day-to-day support functions in carrying out the responsibilities and coordination.


  • Coordinating and communicate with relevant internal departments and/or project teams.
  • Support in reviewing, drafting, and preparing agreements, contracts, terms and conditions, etc.
  • Review contract documents and correspondences for projects and with customers / clients. 
  • Preparing all forms of communications to provide information to Supervisor, PM, peers, Management and other departments as applicable. 
  • Assist in drafting letters, including but not limited to, contractual letters, confirmation letters, etc.
  • Keeping and maintaining records, correspondences, documents, data, and information relating to the company.
  • Monitoring contracts and subcontracts for any extension, renewal and close-out.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate contract approval.
  • Preparing, updating and maintaining all files and log sheet, etc. for the contracts section.
  • Performing other contract-related duties as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field, preferably with engineering background
  • 02-03 years 

Additional Information

Experience Requirements:


  • Experience level: 03-04 years
  • 02 years or more experience in UAE or Middle East
  • Minimum 02 years worked with contracts department as support function.

  Skills & Professional Requirements:


  1. Beginner knowledge in FIDIC contracts is preferred.
  2. Beginner knowledge of UAE Civil Code, UAE Commercial Transaction Law is preferred 
  3. Contract drafting and reviewing
  4. Contract review and daily administration.

  Attributes & Behaviours:


  • Excellent personality with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
