Consultant /Specialist Maternal and Fetal Medicine

At SearchPlus HR, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant/Specialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine to join our team of medical professionals. As a Maternal and Fetal Medicine specialist, you will play a critical role in providing specialized care to pregnant women and their unborn babies.

In this role, you will diagnose and manage complex and high-risk pregnancies, perform ultrasound examinations, provide counseling and guidance to expecting mothers, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for both the mother and the baby.

• Evaluate and manage high-risk pregnancies, including those with multiple gestations, preterm labor, fetal anomalies, and maternal medical conditions
• Conduct comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments, including ultrasound examinations, genetic screening, and invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on the specific needs of each patient
• Provide counseling and support to expecting mothers and their families regarding pregnancy complications, fetal conditions, and treatment options
• Collaborate with other specialists, including obstetricians, neonatologists, genetic counselors, and pediatric surgeons, to coordinate multidisciplinary care
• Monitor fetal growth and well-being, interpret test results, and make appropriate management decisions
• Participate in research and clinical trials related to maternal and fetal medicine
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Stay current with advancements in the field of maternal and fetal medicine through continuing education and professional development
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards in patient care
