Consultant or Specialist Gynecology oncology

SearchPlus HR is excited to announce an opening for the position of Consultant or Specialist in Gynecology Oncology. This role is essential in providing high-quality, specialized care to women facing gynecological cancers, including ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers.

As a Consultant or Specialist, you will utilize your expertise to diagnose, treat, and guide patients through their cancer journey. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patient histories, conducting thorough examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing tailored treatment plans, and performing surgical interventions when necessary. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and compassionate care.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests, such as imaging, biopsies, and laboratory results.
• Diagnose and appropriately stage various gynecological cancers.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis and patient needs.
• Perform surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques as applicable.
• Prescribe and manage chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other treatment modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
• Offer supportive care to manage treatment-related side effects and enhance patient comfort.
• Collaborate with medical teams through tumor board discussions and case reviews.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development to remain current with advances in gynecology oncology.
