As a Consultant Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a diverse range of cancer types, providing personalized and compassionate care to patients. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including histories, symptoms, and physical examinations
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, including imaging studies, laboratory tests, and biopsies
• Diagnose and stage cancer, determining appropriate treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and supportive care
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting plans as necessary
• Manage side effects and complications related to cancer and its treatment, ensuring optimal patient comfort
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to promote coordinated care
• Engage in continuous education to stay informed about the latest advancements in oncology
