Consultant General Surgeon

As a Consultant General Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of surgical conditions, utilizing advanced surgical techniques, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients. You will play a pivotal role in guiding patients through their surgical journeys while demonstrating empathy and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough diagnoses of patients' conditions and determine the necessity for surgical intervention.
• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
• Order necessary diagnostic tests and interpret the results to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Explain surgical procedures and related risks to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with anesthetists, nursing staff, and other specialists to plan and execute surgeries smoothly.
• Monitor patients’ pre-operative and post-operative progress and provide appropriate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document patient interactions and care outcomes.
• Participate in continuous medical education and training to stay updated with the latest surgical techniques and practices.
