Consultant Critical Care Physician – Burn Unit

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Critical Care Physician specialising in burn care to join our team in a tertiary burn center. The role requires Tier 1 qualifications, formal training in critical care and a minimum of 6 years of experience managing critically ill burn patients.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Lead the critical care management of patients with severe burn injuries and related complications.
• Provide advanced life support and monitor complex clinical conditions.
• Work closely with burn surgeons, anesthesiologists and rehabilitation teams.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based critical care practices and protocols.
• Contribute to research, education, and the development of burn care programs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Tier 1 qualification in Critical Care Medicine with a focus on burn care.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a burn center as a Critical Care Physician.

Certification:

• UK/Ireland: CCT/CCST
• USA/Canada: ABMS/RCPSC
• Australia/New Zealand: Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
• Certificate of Specialisation from countries such as France, Belgium, Germany, Holland,
• Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark.
