Care
·Delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered clinical care.
·Assess, evaluate, diagnose determination, ongoing treatment and clinical management, referral for consultation, care planning, medications/therapeutic orders, transfer authorization, risk assessment, and planning for discharge as appropriate for all patients.
·Direct contact with patient family members, friends, and others to ensure effective communication of care plans.
·Coordinate communication and planning with other surgical, medical, or primary care physicians.
·Work within the scope of privileges and competencies of the licensed role.
·Provide on-call support as applicable.
Learning
·Participate in teaching activities which may include supervising or serving as a preceptor to students, interns, and residents in patient-care settings, as assigned.
·Provide lectures and non-clinical teaching to students, interns, and residents.
·Serve as an adviser and mentor to students, interns, and residents.
Discovery
·Identify scholarly opportunities and conduct scholarly activity. (e.g., publications, journal articles, quality improvement projects, clinical research).
·Supervise and support staff and trainees in research.
·As needed, participate in and attend academic conferences and scientific and clinical meetings to remain abreast of ongoing advances in the medical field.
Service
·Accurate and timely completion of all clinical and professional records and documentation to assure compliance with local and federal regulatory, licensure, and accreditation requirements.
·Serve on Dubai Health committees or attend external meetings.
·Work to create a positive work culture within cross-departmental teams.
·Work within the rules and regulations of Dubai Health and any regulating authorities.
·Provide leadership and develop high-performance teams by providing expertise, sharing knowledge, and identifying appropriate training initiatives in operations.
·Any other assignments related to the nature of the job assigned by the management.
