Role Purpose:
The jobholder will support the Compliance Governance & Assurance (CGA) Unit under Group Compliance Department (GCD) to achieve its objective in providing effective governance oversight over the implementation and development of the Group Compliance program. This will include support in tracking GCD policies and procedures, training strategy, support tracking GCD RCSA, KRI, Scorecards, Issues & Actions, Ml & reporting, vendor management, budget coordination, information security and Business Continuity liaison and records updates in system, in addition to support on other core compliance governance tasks as assigned by the reporting manager/ Head of Unit. This role will also support the Compliance-Managed Services Oversight, including Compliance Operation Center “COC” by acting as the COC oversight Coordinator, which includes resources and budget management, Trainings, KPIs/KRIs, contracts, and any other oversight related activity.


CGA Unit provides a shared service to other units within GCD, specifically the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), Regulatory Affairs Unit (RAU), etc, and the offshore Compliance Operations Centre (COC) and liaises with other ADIB Stakeholders such as ORM, GISD and GIA on various activities.
    
Key Accountabilities of the role      
Support with Compliance Governance policies/SOPs/SLAs update


  • Maintain custody of the Group Compliance policies and procedures and oversee its dissemination.
  • Support with Governance related activities such as periodic controls testing, KRIs review and scoring, CBUAE actions closure status, etc.
  • Act as a central point of contact for reporting of self-identified compliance incidents/ issues/ breaches across the Group.
  • Support with Governance enhancement projects/ dashboards/ trackers and submissions to different Forums.
  1. Group Compliance Department Governance MIs, Administration Activities, Oversight and Ad-hoc Requests/Reporting
  • Coordinate with relevant GCD stakeholders to validate the information provided and maintain documentary evidence and emails to support the data presented in the compliance reports and dashboards.
  • Liaise for Group Compliance oversight over International Business locations and ADIB Subsidiaries
  • Liaising for relevant Compliance trainings across ADIB
  • Prepare trend analysis and dashboards to support Compliance Governance Assurance Unit and related submissions, as and when required
  • Support with any internal/external Compliance Governance Assurance ad-hoc requests
  1. Support with Compliance/Regulatory Incidents across ADIB
  • Support with monitoring and tracking of logged Compliance/Regulatory incidents
  • Coordinate with relevant BU to provide incident details and remediation plan 
  • Initiate GCD assessment process for Compliance Incidents and provide outcome to relevant stakeholders (BU, GORM, etc.)
  • Report status update of Compliance Incidents in relevant forums (BRCC, CRMC, BAC, CEO report)
  • Support Initiating reporting to regulators if/when required
  1. GCD Budget Tracking and Vendor Management:
  • Support with preparing Forecast for GCD Annual Budget
  • Liaise with ADIB stakeholders on Budget-related matters (Finance/CPD)
  • Consolidate the GCD’s budget in consultation with the GCD Leads/Heads
  • Support with Vendor Management; onboarding, offboarding, performance assessment, compliance subscriptions 
  • renewal/termination, invoicing, etc.
  1. Managed Services Governance & Oversight
  • Act as the main focal point of contact for GCD Managed Services Governance, having full oversight of relevant controls/ SLAs and workflow
  • Ensure Managed Services governance procedures are carried out on timely manner and accurately (including Capacity Assessment, Performance Assessment, Trainings, Access Rights review, etc.) as applicable
  • Ensure Managed Services contracts and invoices are handled on time
  • Ensure all relevant documents are approved, signed, and adequately archived in the relevant CGA shared-folder

Maintain Managed Services folders up to date
 


Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
 



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Risk Management or any relevant field
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of MIS reporting and Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English (ability to read and communicate in Arabic Language will be an added advantage)
  • Preferable knowledge in Budget, Vendor Management and Payments in addition to Project Management
  • Preferable knowledge in following systems: Archer-GRC, SAP-Ariba
  • Analytical mind, good communication and self-motivated, detail oriented
  •  Role will report to Compliance Governance and Monitoring Manager

Previous experience:       


Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience within relevant function/ field, preferably in Financial Institution
