As a Commis, you will support the kitchen team in preparing high-quality dishes and ingredients, ensuring smooth kitchen operations. What You'll Do?
Prepare and organize ingredients for daily service, ensuring they meet our high standards of freshness and quality.
Assist in cooking and preparing dishes following established recipes and guidelines, under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety in all areas of the kitchen.
Support the team in maintaining an efficient and well-stocked kitchen, ensuring proper ingredient storage and stock rotation.
Assist with the presentation and plating of dishes, ensuring they meet visual and quality standards.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service and timely food delivery.
Participate in ongoing training sessions to continue refining your culinary knowledge and techniques.
Help with additional kitchen tasks, as needed, to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.
What Are We Looking For?
At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen role, ideally in a Mexican or Latin American cuisine environment.
A genuine passion for food and a strong interest in Mexican culinary traditions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
