As a Commis Chef at Kitopi, you'll play a key role in supporting the kitchen team by preparing high-quality ingredients, assisting with meal prep, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. You’ll work closely with the chef to ensure all dishes meet Kitopi’s standards for taste and presentation.
What You'll Do?
Accurately measure and prepare ingredients for the assigned section.
Season, grill, marinate, and prepare meats, salads, and sauces as directed by the Chef.
Assist with receiving deliveries, checking orders for quality and accuracy.
Take inventory of kitchen supplies and notify the supervisor of any shortages.
Ensure expired or spoiled food items are discarded from stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at workstations and in the kitchen.
Plate and present dishes according to the Chef’s instructions.
What Are We Looking For?
Minimum high school education.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
Positive, dynamic, and creative with a passion for food and kitchen operations.
Ability to work well in a multicultural team environment.
Strong adaptability, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
