Commercial Manager

Our client is a global events and communications agency recruiting a Commercial Manager possessing financial acumen and who understands the cost and margin of the conference business. They are ideally seeking someone who has worked with production vendors or logistics.

The Commercial Manager role is critical to shaping and executing the company’s commercial strategies and ensuring sustainable growth through innovative client solutions and revenue diversification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust commercial strategy aligned with the client’s growth objectives and market trends.
• Identify and capitalize on revenue-generation opportunities through strategic partnerships, innovative product offerings, and geographic market expansion.
• Oversee pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness and profitability in alignment with the client’s value proposition.
• Collaborate closely with the BD team to refine proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure long-term client relationships.
• Work with RFP Managers and technical teams to deliver commercially sound, high-quality responses to client requests.
• Actively contribute to pitch processes and presentations, ensuring the commercial aspects are compelling and aligned with client needs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and manage contract negotiations to protect the client’s financial interests.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver seamless project execution and value-added services.
• Collaborate with regional BD directors to ensure alignment in revenue objectives across markets.
• Champion the exploration of new business models, revenue streams, and client offerings to diversify the client’s portfolio.
