Position Summary



As a Commercial Development intern, you will provide support to our Nutrition commercial across various activities, specifically focusing on shopper understanding, external benchmarks and contributing to the picture of success in the trade. You will gain exposure to the world of trade marketing and implement commercial strategies across different clusters in the MENA region.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …



1. Strategic Revenue Management: External benchmark expertise:
Analyze our brand and format strategy and benchmark gaps externally in the category across the different key MENA countries Develop a dashboard that is reviewed and updated frequently to drive speed of decision making and strengthen our competitiveness in the market Channel market share tracking vs competition where data is available.

2. Picture of Success Toolkit:



Design a full end to end omni-channel toolkit that consolidates all the branding trade materials and Point of sale material to release a booklet to all MENA Commercial community to benefit from. Incorporate summarized shopper understanding from the available shopper research into the toolkit to help build the understanding of the teams of the shopper decision tree across the 5 key countries.

3. E-commerce Channel Focus:



Liaise with the e-commerce regional team on driving and implementation of the actions to drive growth by customer type (pure players, Last Mile Delivery… etc) Coordinating between the e-commerce and marketing team on closing gaps where available and bringing governance and discipline to the actions taken during the monthly review.

4. Kick off Commercial team on-boarding program to the MENA CDT community



Internal collaboration:
You will play a crucial role in supporting our internal collaboration across different teams and countries.

What Will Make You Successful…



Graduated with a degree in Economics, Business Management, Marketing. Excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Power Bi (dashboard), Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to adapt to changes as required. Entrepreneurial spirit and a resourceful mindset. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is optional.
