The InterContinental Hotels Group® at Dubai Festival City consists of four hotels. These include the luxury and lifestyle brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the premium Crowne Plaza, and the essentials Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1,600 rooms, the cluster boasts a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gym and swimming pool facilities.  A little taste of your day-to-day:


  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with hotel management systems (PMS), point-of-sale(POS) systems and other hotel-specific applications.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues with guest-facing technologies, including Wi-Fi connectivity, in-room entertainment systems.
  • Maintain and monitor the hotel's local area network (LAN), ensuring its availability, speed, and security.
  • Ensure that guest Wi-Fi networks are secure and functional, with regular monitoring of usage and bandwidth.
  • Address any issues that affect guest experience related to IT services, maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Regularly update and patch hotel software applications including operating system to ensure they up-to-date and secure.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of hotel networks, systems, and guest data by implementing appropriate security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption.
  • Perform regular system backups, ensure disaster recovery protocols are in place, and conduct periodic security audits.
  • Maintain and enforce IHG IT policies related to data protection and cybersecurity, managing end user access ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards
  • Assist in onboarding new staff with IT setup, software installations, system access and network access.
  • Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors, including software providers and hardware suppliers.
  • Maintain detailed records of all IT systems, network configurations, software, and hardware inventory.

What we need from you:


  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with hotel guests.
  • Ability to work under pressure, especially during high-demand periods, to resolve issues quickly.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar environment (4-5* hotel)
