Team: Part of a global team (support in the Philippines, sales in UAE & France)

About the Role


We are looking for a Cloudflare expert to join our growing team! As a Cloudflare Presales & Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for helping customers adopt and optimize Cloudflare’s solutions, ensuring seamless deployment, security, and performance. You will work closely with both presales and technical implementation, assisting clients with DNS, SSL/TLS, WAF, CDN, security settings, Zero Trust, Network Services (Magic WAN, etc.), and troubleshooting.


You’ll act as the technical point of contact for clients in France, guiding them through Cloudflare's capabilities, designing solutions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer success.


Key Responsibilities


🌐 Presales & Solution Design:


  • Engage with clients to understand their current setup, challenges, and requirements.
  • Introduce Cloudflare’s platform and its role in enhancing security, performance, and reliability.
  • Conduct technical discovery to assess feasibility and define success criteria.
  • Review and scope engagements, propose Cloudflare solutions, and present demos.

⚙️ Implementation & Deployment:


  • Lead Cloudflare configuration and onboarding, including DNS, WAF, SSL/TLS, caching, and security policies.
  • Deploy and configure Zero Trust solutions (ZTNA, Access, Gateway) and Network Services (Magic WAN, Magic Transit, etc.) based on client needs.
  • Define and execute implementation steps, ensuring best practices and alignment with client requirements.
  • Provide technical training to customers on Cloudflare features and usage.

🔍 Troubleshooting & Support:


  • As the key technical point of contact, you will handle first-level troubleshooting with clients before escalating if needed.
  • Work closely with the support team, ensuring smooth case handling and resolution.
  • Diagnose and debug network, security, and performance-related issues.
  • Assist with log analysis and help customers fine-tune security and performance settings.
  • Work with Cloudflare’s internal engineering teams for escalations and complex cases.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and contribute to knowledge base articles.
  • Deliver solutions to customers and ensure proper follow-up.

🤝 Customer Engagement & Success:


  • Act as the trusted technical advisor for customers during and after deployment.
  • Address client questions, concerns, and change requests.
  • Ensure smooth handover from presales to implementation and ongoing support.
  • Track and monitor support cases for timely resolution.
